In other business at the July 16 meeting of the R-3 School Board, bids were accepted from MFA Oil for diesel fuel, Anderson Erickson for milk, Mefford for pest control, and Advanced Disposal for waste removal.
The federal lunch program participation was approved. Handbook updates were adopted. Tuition will remain at $4,000 for the year.
Extra duty coaching list was approved. Board policy updates were tabled until the August meeting.
Principal Kelly Hightree held a meeting with the elementary teachers last week for Positive Interventions and Supports (PBIS).
Christian Malott and FBLA sponsor Jonathan Elder attended the FBLA National Convention in Baltimore.
The tax rate hearing was set for 6 p.m. on Aug. 13.
