Plans for the Searcy Elementary Back-to-School Bash are well underway, according to the organizers of Gallatin Bright Futures. The bash is scheduled for 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 1, at the Daviess County Library Community Room.

This need-based event is being hosted by Bright Futures Gallatin, as they join efforts with local businesses, churches, and organizations to help Gallatin R-5 families by providing some back-to-school needs.
Donations of school supplies can also be dropped off at the Daviess County Extension Office from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or Remax Town and Country from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
