Bright Futures Gallatin is planning to help meet the needs of students prior to beginning the next school year in August with a Back to School event to provide school supplies. The tentative date is Wednesday, Aug. 1. Bright Futures Gallatin is on Facebook, or call the school for more information on how to donate.

Bright Futures is a grassroots organization that enables schools to engage businesses, human service agencies, faith-based organizations and parent groups to rally together to meet the needs of their children. This framework partners organizations with schools in a way that helps them to quickly and efficiently meet students’ basic needs, often within 24 hours.

Community Action Partnership of North Central Missouri provided funding for Gallatin to begin the program.
