Retreats will be held for Runners, Tom-Tom Beaters, and Fire Builders during the day. They are designed to prepare these tribal leaders for their summer camp responsibilities. A special costuming session for Braves will return and start at 1 p.m.

Additional information is available on the Mic-O-Say website at www.mic-o-say.org.

Registration for the Feast will begin at 4 p.m.  at the  Camp Geiger Trading Post. Dinner will be held at 6 p.m. in the dining hall, followed by the formal ceremonies at dust. The highlight of the evening will be the selection of a new chieftain. The tradition of selecting an annual chieftain was started in 1948. The current chieftain is Lon E. Edwards, a scouting alumnus of Troop 12 in St. Joseph.

Scout Executive H. Roe Bartle started the Tribe of Mic-O-Say in 1925 in the St. Joseph area.    Since its founding, over 21,000 Scouts and adults have been inducted in the tribe.
