A memorial service for Evelyn Knecht Godman, Sept. 21, 1921-Dec. 13, 2017, will be held at Civil Bend Cemetery on June 9 at 10:30 a.m. Evelyn was raised in the Pattonsburg area and graduated from the school system. She married Richard Godman who was raised in Kansas City and Bethany. Richard died in 1983 and was buried in Civil Bend Cemetery. Evelyn will be laid to rest next to her beloved Richard.
