Stout receives new scholarship

Cora Stout is the recipient of the Daviess County Fine Arts and Library Science Scholarship. Cora plans to attend Northwest Missouri State University and major in Interactive Digital-Media Visual Imaging. She is the daughter of Dwayne and Lisa Stout of Gallatin.

This is the first year for this county-wide scholarship, which is given by the family of Jan Johnson, the 2016 Daviess County Library Board of Trustees, and Friends of the Library, in gratitude of Jan’s 36 years of service as director of the Daviess County Library, and in remembrance of past librarians who nurtured the appreciation of libraries, reading, and fine arts.
