Norma Lea Crabtree passed away at the home of her daughter, Judy, in Sandia Park, NM, on April 28, 2018, at the age of 95.

Norma was born in Harrison County to Jasper and Lori (Vance) Rouner on Aug. 4, 1922. She married Dale W. Crabtree on May 1, 1948. He preceded her in death April 8, 1984. She spent most of her life in Pattonsburg until she went to live with her daughter and son-in-law, six and a half years ago.
Norma was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pattonsburg where she was a Sunday school teacher of various ages, taught vacation bible school, was involved with Northridge bible study and taking cookies to the nursing home in Gallatin.
She was an avid Bible reader, loved old hymns and loved her Lord. Norma was ready to be with Jesus and talked of seeing her Mom and Dad and other loved ones in Heaven. Additionally, she often joked of being really tall and willowy in her new heavenly body. Through her life she learned and did rely on her Lord, like learning to drive at the age of 62 with the help of a good friend and neighbor.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dale Crabtree; parents, Jasper and Lori (Vance) Rouner; sisters, Helen (Rouner) Youngs, Dortha (Rouner) Fansher; brother, Clayton Rouner; and son, Steve Crabtree.
Survivors include her daughter, Judy Folk and son-in law, Bryan, Sandia Park, NM; grandson, Robb Folk of Swansea, IL; granddaughter, Rebecca (Folk) Sheldon, husband, Chris Sheldon of Albuquerque, NM; Stacy Bupp and Rick Haga of Wamego, KS; great grandsons, Cameron, Evan and Ethan Sheldon of Albuquerque, NM; and Aidon Bupp of Wamego, KS., and one great granddaughter, Bella Folk of Swansea, IL, and many nieces and nephews whom she often talked of, enjoyed and loved.
Funeral services for Norma Lea Crabtree will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 5, at the First Baptist Church, Pattonsburg, under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Pattonsburg. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery, McFall. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Roberson Funeral Home, Pattonsburg.
