Charles Grimes, 80, St. Joseph, died April 25, 2018, at Diversicare Health Care of St. Joseph. No scheduled services are planned. Inurnment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in Gallatin. Cremation is under the direction of McWilliams Family Funeral Home in Gallatin. Charles was born Aug. 26, 1937, the son of Cecil Grimes and Verda (Duke) Grimes in Leavenworth, KS. He graduated from high school in Revillo, SD, and served in the Navy from 1956 to 1960. Charles was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include sister, Joyce Brown of Gower; brothers, John Grimes of Pueblo, CO, and Raymond Grimes of Brandon, SD; half sister, Edith Lamar of McPherson, KS; and nieces and nephews.
