High School Principal Chris Gagnon reported that on April 3, 7-12 staff underwent training on Google Tools including the use of Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides in classroom instruction. Additionally, our staff learned how to use a tool called Google Classroom to manage assignments, disseminate information and resources, and allow students to turn in work without needing to print and turn in assignments. Using a tool like this will potentially allow students who are sick or out of town to access work in real time and keep up with their classes. Teachers will be able to use their time over the summer to prepare to use these tools so that we will be comfortable with them when the year starts next fall.
