This is the 15th Coach of the Year award for Holley, who recently completed his 39th season at the head of the Cardinal men’s program. Coach Holley piloted the Cardinals to their best record, 20-9, since making a transition to NCAA Division II.

In January, Coach Holley became just the tenth coach in men’s college basketball to reach the 900-win plateau. He has guided the Cardinals to twenty-five 20-win seasons and is #1 all time in victories among Missouri 4-year college coaches.

Holley is a 1967 Jewell graduate, lettering four times in each of cross county, basketball and track. He was captain of each sport and ended his career by being named William Jewell’s Athlete of the Year as a senior. He was Jameson High School’s first ever first team all-state player after leading the Huskies to a 33-1 record and third place finish in the Class S state tournament.
