Beverly Sue Allen, 80, Hamilton, passed away April 23, 2018, at the Mosaic Life Care Center, St. Joseph. She lived in Daviess County most of her life.
Beverly was born on April 5, 1938, in Gallatin, to Howard and Gladys Evelyn (Whitt) Wood.  She was a 1957 graduate of the Penney High School in Hamilton.

She worked at the Stride Rite Shoe Factory in Hamilton for a short time and was a homemaker.

Beverly was a member of the Hamilton United Methodist Church and a past member of the Ladies’ Aid at the Wesley Chapel Church in Daviess County.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson Duane Bolling in 2000; sister Vera Mae Boor, and her husband, William; brother-in-law William Zorn; and a step-granddaughter Nancy Monasmith.
On June 9, 1957, she married Loran Ray Allen at the Wesley Chapel Church in Daviess County. He survives of the home.
Additional survivors:  Children Danny Allen, Hamilton, and Lorna (Edmond) Blackburn, Sr., Hamilton; two grandchildren, Staff Sergeant Kyle Bolling (Sonja), Paola, KS, and Dusty Bolling (Kristina), Olathe, KS; nine great-grandchildren, Javan, Alex, Maggie, Jaylen, Marcus, Eric, Waylon Cash and Addilynn Bolling, and Nikki Bates; two step-grandchildren, Eddie Blackburn, Jr., and Amy Margo; 12 step-great-grandchildren; and four step-great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Evelyn Zorn, Cameron, and Linda Larson, Carthage; two half-sisters, Margaret Zimprech and Mary McHaney; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service:  2 p.m., Saturday, April 28, 2018, at the Hamilton United Methodist Church. Visitation:  one hour prior to the service, 1 to 2 p.m., at the church. Interment:  Highland Cemetery, Hamilton. Friends may call from 9 a.m., to 5 p.m., on Friday, April 27, at Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made for cemetery upkeep.
