Christian Malott, a sophomore, will be representing the North Daviess R-3 School District in Baltimore, MD, at the National FBLA Leadership Conference this June. According to North Daviess business teacher Jonathan Elder, it is the first time in the school’s history that an FBLA student has been sent to a national conference.
Christian received third place in “Intro to Business” competition at the state level, gaining him the prestigious honor of advancing to nationals.
In recognition of the momentous event, the North Daviess FBLA Chapter will be holding a fundraising dinner on April 28.
Any community members wanting to show their support for Christian are asked to join the school in congratulating him on his accomplishment over a dinner supplied by the North Daviess FBLA Chapter at the school gymnasium.
The dinner will cost $10 per person. Additional donations can be made at that time as well. All proceeds and donations will go to the North Daviess FBLA Chapter and ultimately will be utilized to ensure Christian is able to attend the national conference.
