New director chosen for Pattonsburg Center

Pictured are Sheila Ellis with Cheryl Cornett and Judy Peters. Cheryl was administrator at the Pattonsburg Multi-Purpose Center for the last 10 months. Judy was administrator at the center when it was first built in 1996, and also filled in during the interim before Ms. Cornett was hired.

Sheila Ellis officially began as administrator at the Pattonsburg Multi-Purpose Center on April 13.

Mrs. Ellis was administrator at the senior center in Maysville for 10 months, and prior to that worked for Dungy’s Super Market in Gallatin as the closing manager.

She has been married 35 years to Tom Ellis, who is a route driver for Little Debbie. They live south of Pattonsburg. They have three children and six grandchildren.

Mrs. Ellis is the daughter of Bob and the late Elsie Sweiger of Pattonsburg.

“I’m looking forward to reconnecting with the people from the Pattonsburg area,” she said.
