Caleb Boyd, a senior at Gallatin High School, is the first recipient of the Harold King Trust Memorial Scholarship. Starting this year, one Daviess County graduating senior will receive this award.

Scholarship applicants must have lived in Daviess County their entire lives and plan to major in a college agricultural field of study. The scholarship is worth $1,000 per semester for up to eight semesters, providing the student maintains a 3.0 college grade point average.
Caleb, the son of Jim and Teri Boyd, will attend the University of Missouri-Columbia this fall, where he will pursue a degree in Ag Business.
