Memorial services for Sarah Moulin will be held at 11 a.m. on April 19, 2018, at First Baptist Church in Hollister. Final interment will be at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield. Arrangements are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson. In Sarah’s memory, donations may be made to Cox Medical Center Branson Volunteers, P.O. Box 650, Branson, MO 65615.

Sarah Moulin, 92, Hollister, died on April 13, 2018.

Sarah Rebecca Moulin was born on May 28, 1925, to Frank and Edna Morrow, in Folsum, NM. Her family moved to Missouri and Sarah graduated from high school in Winston.

She married Delbert Wayne Moulin on Sept. 7, 1947, at the First Baptist Church, in Gallatin. Along with taking care of her family, she worked in banking 22 years at Belt State Bank, which became Mercantile Bank, before retiring in May of 1989. Sarah and Delbert moved to Hollister in 1993.

She volunteered with the Skaggs Auxiliary for 28 years. She was a blood donor and had donated over 10 gallons of blood. She was a volunteer with Care For Kids, tutored at Hollister schools and was involved with their backpack program. She served as a Sunday School teacher and Awana leader. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Gallatin, Savannah Avenue Baptist Church in St. Joseph, and then First Baptist, Hollister.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Delbert Wayne Moulin on Nov. 1, 2004; her sons, Roger and John Henry; her daughter, Rebecca June; and 11 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her son, David Moulin of Hollister; daughter, Marcia Quinn of Chattanooga, TN; brother, Jack House of West Valley City, UT; sisters, Lily Bigley of Vernon, CT, Jewel King of St. Joseph; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
