Three Gallatin High School juniors have been selected to attend Missouri Boys State at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg during the month of June. This year’s delegates from Gallatin High School are Caleb Fawson, Jacob Wilson, and Riley Holmes.

Missouri Boys State is hosted by the American Legion and provides students with an opportunity to live together as self-governing communities. The week-long event is designed to inform participants about the duties, privileges, rights and responsibilities of American citizenship. Students chosen to attend Boys State must exhibit qualities of leadership, character, and scholarship.
