She is survived by her son, Allen Gates, Gilman City; daughter, Marsha (Roy) Clemens, Stet; granddaughter, Delta Clemens; brother, Gerald Bennum, Gower; sisters-in-law, Maudine Bennum, New Hampton, Esther Miller, Kearney, Vera Mae Gates; Allen’s goddaughter, Clarice Smith, Stewartsville, and her children, Dylon Pemberton, Bradley and Thomas Smith; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 24 at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Bethany. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home where friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday.
