Two bids were received to mow and maintain the park, one in the amount of $45 per mowing and cleanup, and another for $50 for cleanup and $40 for mowing. The board accepted the lowest bid in the amount of $45, which was from John Muessig.
Ordinance Enforcement Officer Quentin Hunt updated the board on construction progress being made on two homes within the village.
The board was updated on required storm siren maintenance, which needs to be performed later in the month. The clerk asked the board for approval to allow Outdoor Warning Consultants to check and replace parts on the siren. After discussion, the board agreed to allow Amber White to authorize maintenance on the siren.
The income and expense report was approved.
The utilities clerk distributed a new list of delinquent customers, including eight due for shutoff.
Melvin McFee reported everything was working properly as far as sewer maintenance and there are no new problems.
In order to turn on water at the park, the bathrooms need to be fixed first. The ordinance enforcer is to look into the cost of fixing the bathrooms and get back to the board.
The next board meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday, April 2. Trustees present: Arvella Eaton, Brenda Goll, and Nichole Gregornik. Others present: Amber White, Melvin McFee, John Muessig and Quentin Hunt.
