On March 8 at 12:55 p.m., Trooper J. Lynch responded to a report of suspicious activity near the Gallatin Baptist Church.

According to the probable cause statement, a bearded man was running from a residence located at 512 South Cedar in Gallatin. The man was carrying a black bag. Trooper Lynch made contact with the subject, identified as Leo Allen Gibson, at a maroon van in the church parking lot located just west of the residence.
Gibson did not consent to a search of his vehicle. The Highway Patrol K-9 unit was requested, and K-9 alerted on the vehicle. A search was conducted and revealed a black bag behind the passenger seat containing drug paraphernalia. Gibson, 52, St. Joseph, was taken into custody without incident. He has been charged with A misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Gibson has several prior drug convictions. Bond has been set at $1,500.
Later that day a search warrant was executed at 512 South Cedar, the residence of Ashley Leann Beck, 26, and Kelly Ray Beck, 52. Warrants have been issued for their arrests. Ashley Beck is charged with distribution of controlled substance in protected location, A felony, possession of controlled substance, D felony, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, E felony, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Bond is set at $50,000.
Kelly Beck is charged with misdemeanor drug paraphernalia, with bond set at $1,500.
