3:40 pm – Caldwell County advising they have Klayton Shaw, 19, Gallatin, in custody. Shaw was transferred to DDCRJ on a FTA warrant on original charges of drug paraphernalia. Bond is set at $1,000 cash.

7:31 pm – Report of domestic dispute in Altamont; 12-hour rule invoked.

7:42 am – Call from Union Pacific reporting cow out near railroad tracks around 290th Street in southern Daviess County. Contacted possible owners.

12:55 pm – Report of suspicious activity near the Gallatin Baptist Church.

1:47 pm – Subject from above incident taken into custody and transferred to DDCRJ on 24-hour investigative hold pending charges.

5:04 pm – Sheriff’s Office and Highway Patrol out at residence in Gallatin.

9:42 pm – Responding to Coffey area regarding suspicious persons.

1:47 pm – Subject taken into custody on March 8 has been charged with class A misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, Leo Gibson, 52, St. Joseph. Bond has been set at $1,500.

7:25 am – Car vs. deer at the junction of Highway 69 and Highway 6 west of Altamont.  No injuries.

9:46 am – Britton Hemingway Kent, 20, Jamesport, arrested and transported to DDCRJ on charges of felony B of having manufactured controlled substance within school boundaries, felony D possession of controlled substance and other misdemeanor charges. Bond set at $85,000.

4:33 pm – Report of dog walking around the I-35 SB 71 mile marker.

5:28 pm – Report of fire at Winston race track; under control.

11:38 pm – Report of domestic disturbance in Jamesport. Checked and all okay.

12:35 am – Daviess County deputies responding to the report of a large party on Kite Ave east of Highway 190, Jamesport.

12:54 am- Two juveniles detained in above reference.

1:35 am – Juvenile detained and transported to DDCRJ for intoxication; 12-hour detox in place.

2:36 am – Kenneth Yoder, 19, Jamesport, transported to DDCRJ on 24-hour hold.

10:41 am – Report of white cow out on Highway U; advised Livingston County.

6:52 pm – Report of stranded motorist, Highway 6 and Highway CC. All okay.

6:55 pm – Report of stranded motorist, Highway 6 and Grand. All okay.
