Clarence V. Glenn, 84, Bethany, formerly of Gilman City, died Monday, Feb. 5, 2018, at a Bethany nursing home.

He was born Feb. 14, 1933, in Ridgeway, the son of Vernon and Mabel (Morris) Glenn.

On Dec. 8, 1956, he married Joan Graham at Mt. Zion Church in New Hampton. She survives of the home.

Clarence served in the Army. He was a trustee for Fox Creek Township, a member of Immanuel Baptist Church of Bethany, and had served as treasurer for the Mt. Pleasant #1 Baptist Church.

He was a farmer and a general contractor.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; grandson, Clinton Spanky Starmer; sister-in-law, Reva Glenn; and brother-in-law, Wayne Buzzard.

Survivors include his sons, Daniel Glenn, Trenton, Raniel (Angela) Glenn, Bethany, Samuel (Karen) Glenn, Trenton; daughter, Regina (Justin) Glenn-Cash, Shawnee, Kan.; brothers, Clark Glenn, Carl (Martha) Glenn, both of
