Upon receipt of this card, check the information carefully for accuracy. The card should show current address, polling location, township, school district, fire, water and legislative district. If corrections are needed, note that information on the card and mail it back to Daviess County Elections, 102 N. Main, Gallatin, MO 64640. If you have moved or changed your name since the last time you voted, you will need to update your information with the county clerk.
The new Missouri Voter ID law requires 1) that you must show an unexpired government-issued photo ID, or 2) you must show a voter registration card, Missouri school ID, current utility bill or government document, or 3) you must vote a provisional-ID ballot.
If you want a photo ID to vote and don’t have one, the Missouri Secretary of State’s office will help you obtain one non-driver photo ID for free. Call the ShowIt2Vote Hotline toll-free (866) 868-3245 or email [email protected] for more information regarding this assistance.
