William Robert Buddy Fowler, 62, of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, and formerly of Stewartsville, Missouri, died Saturday, February 3, 2018, at his residence.
A celebration of life for Buddy Fowler will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, February 9, in the Fellowship Hall of the First Baptist Church, in Stewartsville.
In lieu of flowers, those considering an expression of sympathy may direct memorials to Midwest Old Threshers (for campground use) and the Buddy Fowler Memorial Fund for medical expenses.
The Kimzey Funeral Home, 213 N. Main St., Mt. Pleasant, is assisting the family with the arrangements.

William Robert Buddy Fowler was born January 12, 1956, in St. Joseph.
He was the son of William A. and Joetta F. (Penland) Fowler. He was raised in Stewartsville and graduated from Stewartsville C2 High School in 1974.
On July 5, 2014, Buddy was united in marriage to Linda Sue Callaway, whom he fondly referred to as the Love of his Life.
For 35 years, Buddy was an Instrument Technician for Bayer Crop Science, in Kansas City. For almost all of his life, Buddy attended the Midwest Old Threshers Reunion, in Mt. Pleasant. He became a volunteer for MOT, working in the electricity and wiring and necessary carpentry of the campground at MOT.
Those thankful for sharing in Buddys life include: his wife, Linda, of Mt. Pleasant; his children, Jenna Olcott and her husband Frank, of Lawson, Missouri, Courtney Story and her husband Austin, of Altamont, Missouri, James Fowler and his wife Jamie, of Stewartsville, Misty Burns, of Mt. Pleasant and Michael Dovenspike, of Mt. Pleasant; and 12 grandchildren, Tyler, Lilly, Emily and Katie Olcott, Xander, Axton and Aubrey Story, Gavin, Carson and Lydia Fowler, Cole and Cayla Burns. At the time of his death, Buddy was happily anticipating the birth of his 13th grandchild.
