The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office held a raffle this past week for courthouse employees to benefit the Missouri Special Olympics Foundation.
The prize was a handmade Special Olympics scarf made from t-shirts that depicted the various events held for Missouri Special Olympics.
Patti Palizzolo of the sheriff’s office made the scarf and presented it to the winner, Janet Weidner of the recorder’s office.
A limited number of these scarves will be available for purchase at the Polar Plunge on Feb. 24.
