A Gallatin woman received minor injuries in an accident that happened at about 7:25 a.m. on Jan. 29, 2018, in Daviess County.
According to the highway patrol, Hanah Tucker, 26, Gallatin, was eastbound on Unity Avenue driving a 1999 Pontiac Sunfire, and Rickey Albrecht, 59, Gallatin, was westbound, driving a 2001 Dodge Ram.
Both vehicles were cresting a hill. Ms. Tucker was traveling on the wrong side of the roadway and struck Mr. Albrecht’s vehicle head-on.
Both vehicles came to rest on their wheels in the westbound lane of Unity Avenue.
Ms. Tucker transported by Daviess County EMS to Cameron Regional Medical Center with minor injuries. She was wearing her seat belt.
No one in the Albrecht vehicle was injured.
The accident was investigated by Cpl. P.M. Kimball.
