Gallatin’s junior varsity basketball boys captured the championship of their own tournament Saturday, defeating South Harrison, 47-35, to win the crown.

The jayvee Bulldogs, now on a 5-0 winning streak after a 1-5 start to the season, were paced by Johnny Stout with 13 points and Landon Corwin with 12 points.

All seven Bulldog players scored during a 35-13 victory over Maysville in Thursday’s opening round. Nathan Baker and Jacob Wilson led a balanced attack with eight points each.

Gallatin’s jayvee girls fell to Trenton, 44-14, in their championship game. Gallatin knocked off Maysville, 31-17, on Thursday with Libby Endicott garnering scoring honors with 20 points.
