Feiden is a two-time All-Grand River Conference and All-District 12 second baseman. She batted .362 this past season for the Lady Bulldogs and struck out only four times in 80 plate appearances. She committed eight errors in 66 chances in the field.
“Academically, she’s such a strong student, and it’s important to be successful in the classroom,” said Culver-Stockton Head Coach Jordan Bastion, who was present at Thursday’s signing. “Before her visit, I had already noticed her in the game they played here,” Coach Bastion said of Gallatin’s high school playoff game against Canton in October. “She has speed and athletic ability and when you put two and two together, academics and athleticism, we’re really excited about adding her to our roster.”
Culver-Stockton plays in the Heart of America Athletic Conference. The Lady Wildcats won 58 games over the last two seasons under Coach Bastion.
Aubrey was joined for last week’s signing ceremony by her parents, Chris and Terri Feiden (front row), former GHS softball coach Chad Sullenger, current head coach Courtney Ray, and Coach Bastion.
