Marjorie was born on June 15, 1932 in Loop City, Neb., to Elliot and Neva L. (Watts) Lundy.

She was a graduate of Gallatin High School. Marjorie married Fred Junior Ayres and resided in the Winston area. She was a member of the Winston United Methodist Church, active in Winston 4-H and was a Stanley Home Product representative.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fred J. Ayres;  grandson, Keith Ayres; two brothers, Bill and Russell Lundy; and sister, Jean Moots.

Survivors: four sons, Dale Ayres, David Ayres, Daniel (Marla) Ayres and Daryl (Melisa) Ayres, all of Winston;  daughter, Janis (Abe) Riggs, Winston;  sister, Maxine (Kenneth) Lee, Winston;  sister-in-law, Leona Lundy; 14 grandchildren, Kirstin, Courtney, Kenny, Matthew, Lisa, Chris, Tylor, Vestana, Autumn, Jette, Jade, Mike, Nathan and Blaise; 21 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services: 2 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2017, at Winston United Methodist Church.

Visitation: 6-8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Poland Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron, Mo.

Burial at Highland Cemetery, Hamilton, Mo.  Memorial Fund: Winston United Methodist Church.
