Gallatin varsity wrestlers came away from Tuesday’s meet at Marceline with their first team victory of the season, 39-25, over the host squad. Gallatin vs. Marceline results were the only ones available at press time.

The Bulldogs captured nine of 13 matches against the Tigers, including pins by Rian Critten in the 132-pound weight class, Gaven Gray in the 160-pound weight class, and Graydee Rains, wrestling up in the 285-pound weight division.
Other wins for Gallatin, by decision, were: Keegan Allen, 106 pounds, 2-1; Ross Critten, 113 pounds, 7-0; Jacob Maize, 126 pounds, 5-2; Drayton Harris, 145 pounds, 4-2; and Gage Wright, 182 pounds, 9-4.
Caleb Boyd won by forfeit for the Bulldogs in the 152-pound class. Also wrestling for the GHS varsity were Ayden Wayne (120), Brigham Steele (138), Tom Crouse (170), Cody Arnold (195) and Jonathan Carder (220).
The Bulldogs host Trenton and South Harrison next Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in the middle school gym.
