Statewide, the temperature averaged 43.8 degrees, 2.7 degrees above normal. Precipitation averaged 0.01 inches statewide, 0.95 inches below normal.
Area farmers had nearly the whole week (6.9) days suitable for fieldwork for the week ending Nov. 26.
Crop progress in the northwest district: soybeans harvested 93%; winter wheat planted 97%; winter wheat emerged 81%. Crop condition, winter wheat: very poor -; poor 1%; fair 31%; good 62%; excellent 6%.
