The Gallatin Bulldog Pride Band had seven high school students participate in Northwest Missouri District Band auditions on Nov. 4, 2017. Out of the seven high school students, two seniors made the High School Honor Band. Jade Wayne received first chair B flat clarinet, and Patrick McNickle received fifth chair trombone in the High School Honor Band.
Four other students made the High School Concert Band: Maelea Coulson, tenth chair flute; Jenna Rains, second chair bass clarinet; Destiny Owings, fourth chair bass clarinet; and Jacob Wilson, fifth chair trumpet. Additionally, seven junior high students participated in the junior high district band auditions. The concert will take place Dec. 9 at Platte County High School.
