James Lewis, road and bridge supervisor, reported that crews have been repairing corrugated metal pipes around the county. There was discussion on whether there were any caution signs that the road and bridge department had that could be used for brush control.
Shane West held discussion with commissioners regarding cutting brush in the county. Commissioners told him that he would have to ask the property owners if they would want this done on their property.
Mr. and Mrs. Roman Janorschke met with the commissioners regarding an abandoned road and property dispute in Washington Township.
Wayne Uthe made a motion to accept the 2017-2018 proposal from Lifestyle – Mike Keith Insurance, Broker. David Cox seconded; motion carried.
Commissioners attended the Local Emergency Planning Committee meeting at noon.
Commissioners viewed roads in Jamesport, Sheridan and Union Township.
