Danny Ray Atkison was born April 6, 1963, in St. Joseph, and passed away October 25, 2017, at Northwest Medical Center in Albany at the age of 54.
Danny was a United States Army Veteran. He worked as the water plant manager in Gentry and was a member of the Gentry Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by grandchildren, Daniel and Mykayla Gardner; sister, Alice Atkison; and brother, Jerry Atkison.
Danny married Cindy Alley on February 28, 2009. She survives of the home.

Sr. and Virginia (Decker) Atkison, McFall, Missouri; sisters, Ginger (Leland) Graham, Bethany, Missouri, LaDonna (Chris) Hunt, Nixa, Missouri, Connie Hudson, McFall, Beckie (Rick) Samborski, Lathrop, Missouri; brother, Rick (Linda) Atkison, Darlington; grandchildren, Rachael Gardner, Sydney Meeks, Aubrei, Mylayna, Roman and Kylah Gardner, Justice, Olin, Alyssa, Cali, Inara, Meisha, Lynslee, Abby, Phealyn and Pearl Atkison; nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service: 1 p.m. Monday, October 30, at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany, Missouri.
Burial with Military Rites will be in the Grandview Cemetery, Albany.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Sunday, at the chapel, where friends may call anytime after 2 p.m. Sunday.
