Waunita Lillian (Wiedmer) Moskau, 91, of Wathena, passed away Friday, October 20, 2017, at the Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph.

Waunita was born on January 23, 1926, in Wathena, to Edward and Lillian Marolf Wiedmer.
She was a lifelong member of the Zion United Evangelical Church, Womens Guild, Happy Valley Extension Club, Wednesday Womens Bible Study, Youth Friend and volunteered at the school library all of Wathena, Kansas. She was a homemaker and worked at the Flower Peddler, retiring after 15 years. Waunita was active in the community and always ready to go places at a moments notice!
Waunita married Harlan R. Moskau on June 28, 1946, in Wathena. He preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Bryan Bahr; sisters, Cecilia Meng and Vera Hartman; and brothers, Laverne and Warren Wiedmer.
Survivors: Kathy Caton (Stan) of St. Joseph, Christy Bahr (Ron) of Wathena, Annette Brown (David) of Pattonsburg, Missouri, Colette Adams (Jerry Jr.) of Kansas; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Alma Rainey (J.A.) of Sun City, Arizona.
Funeral Service: 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2017, at the Zion United Evangelical Church, Wathena.
Visitation: one hour prior to service at the church.
Friends may call after 12 p.m. Tuesday, at the Harman-Rohde Funeral Home in Wathena.
Burial: Zion United Evangelical Church Cemetery, Wathena.
