On Sept. 5, a search warrant was executed by the Daviess County Sheriff’s office and the Highway Patrol at 212 W. Jackson Street in Gallatin. Three arrests were made.

The search revealed multiple controlled substances, including methamphetamine, and multiple items of drug paraphernalia, all within easy access of a six-year-old female minor child who was living there. There were also large numbers of cockroaches in all rooms, as well as a large amount of mouse feces, dirt and filth.

The parents of the child, Kelly Clevenger, 39, and Susan Clevenger-Bradford, 33, have been charged as follows: Kelly Clevenger, two counts class D felony endangering welfare of a child, misdemeanor possession marijuana and paraphernalia, with bond set at $15,000; Susan Clevenger-Bradford, 33, one count of class D felony endangering welfare of a child first degree, with bond set at $15,000.

Daniel Brown, 49, who was also living at the residence, was charged with class D felony possession of controlled substance, class E felony unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of an illegal weapon. His bond is set at $35,000.

Kelly Clevenger stated that multiple controlled substance transactions have occurred in the yard of the residence. He also indicated that Brown was providing marijuana to Clevenger in lieu of paying rent.
