Garnett, who now tops all 25 players who have earned their PGA Tour card for next season, shot rounds of 63 and 65 on Saturday and Sunday to finish with an 18-under par total of 266, which was four shots better than four other players.

In shooting 65 on Sunday, Garnett birdied five holes on the back nine to outpace the pack chasing him. With the win, Garnett became only the second golfer to win twice on the Web.com Tour this season.

Last week’s Portland Open was the regular season finale but Garnett will start a four-event finals series this week at the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship in Columbus, Ohio.

The Web.com Tour Finals features the top 75 money winners on the regular season tour, plus players 126-200 on the PGA Tour’s FedExCup points list at the conclusion of the PGA Tour’s regular season.

Garnett, by way of being one of the top 25 leading money winners from the Web.com Tour regular season, is guaranteed a PGA Tour card, but if he can stay in the top money spot after the four-event finals, he will earn a fully exempt card that will qualify him for all PGA events. Another 25 PGA tour cards will be awarded to the players who earn the most cumulative money in the four finals events.
