| The Daviess County Board of Equalization convened at 8:45 a.m. July 17. This board is a statutory board which has the responsibility of determining the correct value of real and personal property for individuals, businesses and manufacturers.
The following board members were in attendance: Randy Sims, presiding commissioner, David Cox, first district commissioner, Wayne Uthe, second district commissioner, Elaine Bohannon, and Les Turner. Also in attendance were Vicki Corwin, county clerk, Betty Harmison, assessor, Diane McLey, assessor clerk, and Sally Black, assessor clerk. Oaths were taken by the board members and commissioners. At 9 a.m., there was no representative present from AT&T regarding personal property parcels of 9020, 9021, 9022, 9108, and 9109. Elaine Bohannon moved to take no action, seconded by David Cox. The motion carried with all in favor. At 9:20 a.m., Grace McKinnon was present regarding real estate parcel 07-9.0-32-06. Les Turner moved to take no action, seconded by Wayne Uthe. The motion carried with all in favor. Railroad and utility totals were reviewed by commissioners. The Board of Equalization meeting adjourned at 9:55 a.m. |
