A fresh look at a favorite story comes to Gallatin’s Courter Theater this Friday, July 14, and Saturday, July 15, when Missoula Children’s Theatre and 36 local students present Beauty Lou and the Country Beast. This country-western musical adaptation of the original Beauty and the Beast will be presented at 7 p.m. on Friday and 2 p.m. on Saturday. Beauty Lou and the Country Beast is part of the Missoula Children’s Theatre’s unique international touring project. Tickets are $5 and are available at the theater door one hour prior to performances. The presentation is partially funded by MAC, Davis-Aulgur Foundation and Gallatin Rotary Club.
