The Covel D. Searcy Elementary Awards Assembly was held on May 18 for students in kindergarten through fourth grade. Outstanding Attendance Awards were presented to Kirk Gannan, Tyler King, Courtney Cecil, Cloie Livick, Olivia Schweizer, Reid Hemry, Elijah Lawinger, William Plant, Dorothy Burns, Michael Duncan, Mary Taylor, Carter Johnson, Tylee Morrison, Olivia Plant, Lexi Vasquez, Caleb Barnard, Anden Terhune and Jax Adkison. Perfect Attendance Awards were presented to Payton Ishmael, Jacob Jackson, Jonas Pettit, Koda Wortman. Jonas Pettit received a Kindle Fire for the BTC Bank Perfect Attendance Award. His name was drawn from the perfect attendance awards.
