Commencement ceremonies for the GHS Class of 2017 were conducted Friday night for 48 graduating seniors. Leading this year’s graduates were Valedictorian Mattison Ishmael, daughter of Lena Ishmael and Jason Ishmael, pictured at right, and Salutatorian Gabrielle Johnson, daughter of Priscilla and Tyler Johnson and Cassie Parton, pictured at left. Scholarships, senior awards and other graduation information and photographs for all public schools in Daviess County are featured in a special souvenir section inserted in this edition.
