The Missouri Community College Association and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society recognizes outstanding community college students each spring by selecting them to be members of the All-Missouri Academic Team. Over 100,000 students attend Missouri’s community colleges every year, and only 40 are selected to be members of the team.

C.J. received a proclamation from Missouri Governor Eric Greitens, noting that each member of the All-Missouri Academic Team has demonstrated excellence in the areas of academic rigor, service to their college and community, and leadership.

The All-Missouri Academic Team was honored at Missouri Community College Association’s spring awards luncheon on April 12 in Columbia. C.J. received his certification along with a monetary scholarship.

C.J. is a 2016 graduate of Gallatin R-5 High school. He is the son of Cassie and Gallatin Chief of Police Mark Richards.
