Lois Jean French, 85, St. Joseph, died Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at her home.

She was born Oct. 15, 1931, in Jamesport to Albert and Imogene (Brannam) Blakburn; they preceded her in death.

Lois married Francis Frenchie French Jan. 8, 1950. He survives of the home.

Lois worked at Sherwood Medical where she was a material supplier. She also held a chief union steward position. Lois also served as the matron of Saxton Lodge Eastern Star Chapter.

She was also preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.

Other survivors include daughters, Jean Ann Bell, JoAnn Johnson (Jim), and Debby French; son, Kevin French (Erin); sister, Willa Mae DeKamp; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
