Courthouse news: commissioners continue to watch tubes for washout

The road and bridge crew worked on 290th Street in Harrison Township, on 292nd Street in Jamesport Township, and continues to check on tubes throughout the county for washout damage.

David Cox made a motion to accept the repair estimate from MEI Total Elevator Solutions, Kansas City, to repair the elevator. Wayne Uthe seconded; motion passed.

Commissioners attended the LEPC meeting at noon.

The meeting adjourned at 4 p.m.

Associate Division

Daniel J. Tyrrell, Oregon, Mo., was charged March 30 with non-support, E felony.

Faith K. Sullivan, Gallatin, was charged March 31 with two counts of forgery, C felonies, in connection with two checks tendered to a Winston business on which the signature did not match the signature card on file at the bank. A warrant has been issued, with bond set at $45,000.

Jeffrey A. Sigloch, Jamesport, was charged with two counts of stealing and filing a false police report on March 30. In January, he sold a heater which he did not own and then filed a false report which stated that he was a witness to the theft of the heater. In March, he took a bag of tools valued at $330 and sold them for $100. Sigloch was not the owner of the tools. A warrant has been issued, with bond set at $1,000.

Bureaus Investment Group Port vs. Michael B. Eversole was dismissed by the parties.
