She has been identified as Antwanette Michelle Delagarza, a Liberty woman reported as missing since Feb. 21. The cause of death appeared to be a gunshot wound. No foul play is suspected. The case is under investigation by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department as an apparent suicide. Delagarza’s identity was released by the Liberty Police Department on March 14.

According to the sheriff’s office, Delagarza had pulled her vehicle into the driveway of a vacant lot, and her car was not visible from the road. The car and body were found when the land owner visited the property.
