Auditions for “Savior of the World: His Birth and Resurrection,” a regional musical performed during the Christmas season, will be held on March 4 and 11.
The auditions are open to the public for people of all faiths from across northwest and north central Missouri with roles for adults, youth and children age eight and older.
“Savior of the World” depicts the events surrounding the life of Jesus Christ – a testimony of His divine mission as Savior and Redeemer of the world.
The auditions will be held from 2 to 5 pm, Saturday, March 4, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1100 East Grand Avenue in Cameron, and from 10 a.m. to noon and 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, March 11, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 202 West 19th Street in Kearney.
Those wishing to audition should come prepared with a hymn to sing.
In addition, the production is seeking individuals to work with the tech crew for props, backstage crew, lighting, costumes and makeup. They should also plan to attend one of the auditions.
Orchestra auditions will be held at a later time.
