Gallatin landed five players on the 2016-17 All-Grand River Conference Eastern Division honor squad based on regular season performance.
Sophomore Karley Salmon was a first team selection after leading the Lady Bulldogs in scoring with a 10.4 average per game. She was also the team’s top three-point shooter, hitting 42% (36 of 86) of her outside shots.
Senior Taylor Sloan is a second team pick for the second year in a row. She led her team with 48 shot blocks, averaged 7.9 points per game and was second in rebounding with 118.
Junior Cora Stout is an honorable mention selection, averaging 7.3 points per game and pulling down a team-high 133 rebounds.
Junior Hayley Michael averaged 7.3 points in earning honorable mention. She led the team in assists (65) and steals (60).
Junior Jett Simmons was one of seven unanimous choice players on the Eastern Division boys’ squad. Simmons, an honorable mention pick a year ago, led the Bulldogs in scoring with a 19.1 average per game and in three-pointers with 66. He averaged 1.5 steals and assists per game and 77.2% from the free throw line.
