Private pesticide applicator training will focus on the use of dicamba resistant soybean technology. In addition, growers who do not need a license should attend to become knowledgeable about this technology.

The Daviess County Ag Update will be held on Wednesday, March 1 at the First Christian Church, 1501 S. Main Street, in Gallatin. The DeKalb County Ag Update will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 28 in the meeting room at the DeKalb County Courthouse in Maysville. Both meetings will begin at 8:30 a.m.

For the applicator training, a training manual is required for licensing. If you have an old manual, please bring it to the meeting. A new manual will cost $12.

Following the applicator training, the University of Missouri Agricultural Extension staff will provide updates in subject areas of agronomy, livestock, farm business and horticulture. Speakers may vary based on staff schedules.
