The following cases were heard by Judge Thomas Chapman on Feb. 8:

Dissolutions of marriage were granted to Kristy L. Eckerson from Joshua Q. Eckerson; to Orin B. Clawson from Sarah P. Clawson; to Elisa B. Welp from Benjamin L. Welp; and to Kenneth G. Irvin from Kimberlee Christina Young-Irvin, with her maiden name Kimberlee Christina Young restored.

Cases bound over from the Associate Division:

State vs. Andrew Michael Smith, Kansas City, driving while revoked, D felony; State vs. Anthony Dean Davis, St. Joseph, parental kidnapping, D felony; State vs. Giovanni D. Scott, Pattonsburg, domestic assault second degree, C felony, domestic assault third degree, A misdemeanor;

State vs. Dustin Teel, Gallatin, assault second degree, C felony, property damage second degree, B misdemeanor, driving while revoked, unclassified misdemeanor;

State vs. Voris Markell Ross, Minneapolis, Minn., possession of controlled substance at jail, D felony, no valid license, D misdemeanor.

Civil cases filed: Department of Revenue Collections Enforcement vs. Earl G. Brown, Pattonsburg, certificate of lien, DOR, taxes.

Associate Division

James G. Crockett, Jamesport, was charged Feb. 8 with DWI, persistent offender, E felony, operating vehicle without valid license second offense, A misdemeanor, operate vehicle of another knowing owner has not maintained financial responsibility, D misdemeanor.

Civil Court

Replevin: JM Associates Federal Credit vs. Orville I. Newberry was dismissed by the parties.

County Commission

There is no meeting to report, as commissioners attended training on Feb. 8.
