Kenny Mort found this picture in his archives. It was taken at Camp McCoy, Wis., where Battery B, 381st Field Artillery Battalion, 102nd Ozark Division, had gone for yearly training. It was in 1957 or 1958. The Gallatin Reserves went to the meetings at Camp McCoy twice a month. They were called the 155 Howitzer Division and they could use the big guns at the camp.
Mr. Mort knew a few of the men in the photograph. They are from left to right:
Oxy Loxterman is first on the front row; CO Nevin Smith, specialist 4th Class, is fifth on the front row; Dean Trosper, executive officer, is sixth on the first row;
Sgt. Marvin Teel is ninth on the first row; Dean Wilson, specialist 4th Class, is ninth on the second row; Kenny is either the second from the left or second from the right on the second row; Tommy Ramsbottom, Specialist 4th Class, is third on the back row; Junior Terry is also in the picture somewhere.
