Carrollton. Palmyra. Kirksville. Marshall. Big or small, all fell to Gallatin last weekend in the Carrollton Dual Wrestling Tournament.

In winning the tournament, the Bulldogs did so in dominating style.
Six GHS wrestlers finished 4-0 for the tournament: Ross Critten (106), Drayton Harris (132), Declan Schweizer (152), Caleb Michael (160), Graydee Rains (195/220) and Michael McLey (285).
Five other Bulldogs won three matches, Ayden Wayne (113), Wyatt Bird (145), Dalton Swalley (170), Dakota Martin (182) and Ethan Johnston (220).
Gallatin rolled over Palymra, 72-6, and did much the same against Kirksville, 65-11. The Bulldogs defeated Marshall, 70-12, and with pins by Rains and McLey, edged out host Carrollton, 38-34, for the title.
McLey, a senior, reached a milestone in the tournament, winning his 100th career match.
The Bulldogs added two more victories on Tuesday, beating Maryville, 48-21, and taking down rival Hamilton, 48-21.
Critten, Harris, Boyd, Bird, Schweizer, Rains and McLey each won both matches on Tuesday. Michael wrestled once to victory. Wayne split matches.
Additional results from Dec. 6 saw Gallatin defeat South Harrison, 54-18. GHS match winners included Critten, Wayne, Harris, Caleb Boyd, Bird, Schweizer, Michael, Rains and McLey.
The Bulldogs will compete Friday and Saturday in the Battle of Lexington Tournament as their final 2016 competition.
